The Whale in Blue Sea Mural is a collaborative artwork themed on "whale fall", jointly created by young artists from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and employees of Youfa Group on the outer wall of the industrial sewage treatment station of the First Branch of Youfa Group. As a saying goes, "When a whale dies, all things thrive". The entire mural is divided into three parts: "The Coexistence of Blue Whales and the Ocean", "Whale Fall", and "The Dedication and Feedback of Whales". It depicts how a whale, after its death, sustains tens of thousands of marine species for decades or even hundreds of years as it slowly sinks to the seabed. The mural illustrates the romantic tale of whales being born from the ocean and giving back to it upon death, conveying Youfa Group’s noble aspiration of drawing resources from society and giving back to it, as well as fostering harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
