Travel Reminders from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the Qingming Festival Holiday
Date : 2024-03-30The 2024 Qingming Festival holiday is approaching. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism reminds all tourists:
1. Plan your trip well. When traveling in spring, pay attention to the forecast information released by meteorological authorities and adjust your clothing accordingly. Learn in advance about the traffic conditions at your transit points and destinations, pay attention to the opening status of tourist attractions during the holiday and ticket reservation measures, and plan your travel routes and time reasonably. Do not visit areas that have not been developed and opened to the public or that lack safety guarantees. Pay close attention to the safety situation and precautions for outbound travel destinations, and do not visit high-risk areas.
2. Strengthen safety awareness. When traveling by motor vehicle or public transportation, fasten your seat belt throughout the entire journey. Do not carry prohibited items when taking public transportation, and master the correct methods for emergency escape. When traveling by self-driving, avoid fatigue driving and driving under the influence of alcohol; drive safely and courteously. Cautiously participate in high-risk tourism activities based on your own condition. When engaging in high-risk activities such as high-altitude, high-speed, water, diving, and adventure activities, follow the guidance of professionals, abide by safety operation regulations, and do not engage in actions that may endanger your own safety or the safety of others.
3. Pay attention to fire safety. This is a wonderful season for flower viewing and spring outings. Pay attention to fire prevention and avoid disasters during outdoor activities. Do not smoke, barbecue, or use open flames in places where flammable materials accumulate or where there are fire prevention signs. When visiting scenic spots, public cultural venues, cultural relic protection units, and other places, strictly abide by fire safety management regulations. When staying in hotels, do not smoke while lying on sofas or in bed. Actively understand and master emergency evacuation routes and emergency risk avoidance knowledge. In the event of sudden or emergency situations, follow the guidance and instructions of on-site staff.
4. Travel in a civilized and green manner. Learn about and respect the cultural traditions, customs, and religious beliefs of the destination beforehand. Follow the visit and tour instructions of the venues, take care of the ecological environment, protect cultural relics and historic sites, and cherish public facilities. Be patient and rational when dealing with traffic congestion and waiting caused by increased visitor flow in scenic spots. Consume rationally and do not waste. Actively practice the "Clean Plate Campaign," embrace low-carbon and economical practices, and travel in a green manner.
