- Guessing lantern riddles is an indispensable classic part of the Lantern Festival. In the riddle area, colorful strips of paper are filled with interesting riddles. The participants either thought intently or engaged in heated discussions, all using their brains to find answers. Whenever someone guessed the answer correctly, a proud smile would spread across their face, and a small gift from the staff added to this joy. - The yuanxiao-making session was even more lively and bustling. The family sat around together and made yuanxiao, a symbol of reunion, by hand. The children's little hands and faces were covered with glutinous rice flour, but they still enjoyed it. They imitated the adults and carefully wrapped the fillings into the glutinous rice balls. Parents were patiently guiding them on the side, and their laughter and joy echoed throughout the scene. In no time, the plate was filled with round and plump yuanxiao. They not only contained delicious fillings but also carried the deep love among family members.
