The art of making lacquer fans is a unique flower in traditional Chinese craftsmanship, renowned worldwide for its exquisite craftsmanship and distinctive artistic value. As a treasure among traditional Chinese handicrafts, the lacquer fan carries rich cultural connotations and historical heritage.
After watching the tutorial on making lacquer fans, everyone began to operate one after another. They put the fans into the water and drew colorful patterns on the fan surface through techniques such as tapping, swinging, bouncing and sliding. Each lacquer fan has a unique Oriental charm.
No.2| Handmade Sachet - A wisp of fragrance, deep affection- The sachet, also known as the purse, is one of the representatives of traditional Chinese handicrafts, with profound cultural heritage and unique charm. It uses colorful silk threads to embroider various beautiful patterns on colored silk, and then sews them into embroidery bags of different shapes and sizes. The sachets are usually filled with Chinese herbal medicines such as mugwort and cloves, which have the effects of repelling mosquitoes and warding off evil spirits, and give off a faint fragrance.
At the beginning of the event, the staff introduced to everyone the folk cultural knowledge of sachets and the steps of making sachets.
