On September 12th, He Wenbo, the Party Secretary and Executive President of the China Iron and Steel Association, led a delegation to visit and guide Youfa Group. Accompanying him on the visit were Luo Tiejun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Association, Shi Hongwei, Feng Chao, Deputy Secretaries-General of the Association, Wang Bin from the Planning and Development Department, and Jiao Xiang from the Comprehensive Department (Finance and Assets Department). - At the symposium, Li Maojin extended a warm welcome to Secretary He and his delegation for their visit and guidance. He sincerely thanked the China Iron and Steel Association for its care, guidance, support and assistance to Youfa over the years, and elaborated on the development history, corporate culture, business achievements, strategic planning of Youfa Group as well as the development situation of the welded steel pipe industry. He stated that since its establishment, Youfa Group, as a leading enterprise in the welded pipe industry, has always adhered to the business philosophy that "product quality reflects personal integrity", with the mission of "enabling employees to grow happily and promoting the healthy development of the industry". For 23 years, it has been deeply engaged in the sole core business of welded steel pipes, leading all Youfa employees to strive for self-improvement and forge ahead, and making unremitting efforts to build Youfa into a respected and happy enterprise.
- Subsequently, Li Maojin, in light of the current economic situation and the current state of the industry, focused on the theme of implementing the green development concept, expanding the demand for steel consumption, improving people's livelihood, and promoting high-quality development of the industry. This paper elaborates and puts forward specific suggestions in five aspects: increasing the application of building steel structures, promoting the revolution of drinking water pipe materials, popularizing the use of disk buckle scaffolding, promoting the symbiotic development of the industrial chain, and adjusting the classification of the welded steel pipe industry. It is hoped that through the special research and industrial planning of the China Iron and Steel Association, detailed policy basis can be actively provided for national reform and development and industrial guidance. Help the steel industry and related sub-sectors such as steel structures and welded steel pipes to steadily advance along the path of high-quality development.
After listening to the report, the leaders and experts from the China Iron and Steel Association who participated in the research responded positively. They believed that the suggestions put forward were highly relevant to the current reality, closely focusing on the development needs and practical problems faced by the industry. They also made supplementary remarks from aspects such as industrial policies, market trends, demand structure, process technology, low-carbon development, innovation and research and development, formulation of international and domestic standards, and cross-professional and upstream and downstream collaboration. Provide professional guidance on Youfa's operation and management as well as its leading role in the development of the welded pipe industry.
He Wenbo made the concluding remarks, expressing high appreciation for the development achievements and social contributions made by Youfa Group over the years. He also fully affirmed Youfa's corporate responsibility of leading the healthy development of the industry and promoting the harmonious coexistence of the industrial chain. Youfa Group is located in the downstream metal products industry, which is most closely related to steel mills, and is closer to end users and consumers. It is an indispensable part of the steel industry chain and is expected to continue to play a key role in connecting the upstream and downstream, expanding the application demand of products, and promoting a favorable industrial ecosystem.Regarding the theme of this research, He Wenbo pointed out: First, the opinions and suggestions put forward by everyone have very well implemented the new development concepts, met the new demands of the new era, and are based on evidence, have a clear direction, and take effective measures. They reflect the high attention paid to environmental protection and health, green ecology, improvement of people's livelihood, and promotion of high-quality economic and industrial development, and are constructive and practical. Second, the China Iron and Steel Association should carefully sort out the relevant issues and suggestions and organize special research topics. For instance, overall research should be carried out on topics such as fluid conveying pipes and direct drinking tap water.By comparing domestic and foreign situations, changes in demand structure, technological progress and improvement, and business model innovation, we should identify new growth points, pinpoint the key points of policy implementation, and provide industrial support for sustained and healthy economic growth. Thirdly, to further increase the proportion of steel application in the field of steel structure buildings, it is not only necessary to reflect the significant value of steel, such as its full cycle and unlimited recycling, reduction of construction waste pollution, acceleration of infrastructure renewal and transformation, and realization of intensive utilization of resources and space, but also to promote the in-depth formation of a social consensus of "storing steel among the people" from the perspective of enhancing strategic steel reserves and safeguarding national security.
Before the meeting, He Wenbo and his team, accompanied by Li Maojin, Chen Guangling and others, visited the AAA-level national tourist attraction Youfa Steel Pipe Creative Park, the factory's appearance and the pipe technology lined plastic workshop, as well as the 400-cubic-meter production workshop of Youfa Dezhong. They also gained a detailed understanding of Youfa Steel Pipe's manufacturing process, production line capacity, environmental protection treatment, brand quality, product features and application scenarios.
