[Travel News] Travel Tips from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holidays

Date : 2023-09-27

The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays of 2023 are approaching. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism reminds tourists:

  1. Plan your itinerary properly. Learn in advance about the weather, traffic, opening conditions of tourist attractions, and ticket reservation measures at your transit points and destinations, and plan your travel routes and time reasonably. Try to avoid congestion caused by peak holiday crowds and avoid traffic jam sections and periods.

  2. Enhance safety awareness. When entering scenic spots, cultural institutions, and other venues, strictly abide by fire safety management regulations. When traveling by motor vehicle, fasten your seat belt throughout the entire journey. Do not visit areas that have not been officially developed and opened to the public or that lack safety guarantees.

  3. Participate cautiously in high-risk tourism activities. Based on your age, health, and other conditions, follow the guidance of professionals, consciously abide by safety regulations, and cautiously participate in high-risk activities such as high-altitude, high-speed, water, and diving activities. Do not engage in actions that may endanger your own safety or the safety of others.

  4. Travel in a civilized and healthy manner. Observe the regulations on protecting the ecological environment, cultural relics, and historic sites, and respect local customs and religious beliefs. Maintain public order, queue in an orderly manner, and do not crowd or scramble. Respect the rights of others and handle disputes rationally. Take personal protective measures and maintain good hygiene habits. Travel in a low-carbon, economical, and green manner.
